YOUR STAY

Son Fuster does not feel like a newly built villa. Its age is part of the appeal.

Walk through the old stone courtyard and you get a sense of the building's history. Inside, exposed masonry and traditional details sit alongside contemporary furniture, so the house feels comfortable without losing its Mallorcan character.

Ten bedrooms give your group plenty of choice. Some can be arranged as king or twin rooms, which is useful when you are travelling with children, friends or several couples.

The bedrooms are set up for proper downtime. Hypnos Cashmere Edition beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and individual climate controls mean you can settle in without having to think about the temperature or where everyone is sleeping.

In the main house, the living areas give you somewhere to gather. Light comes through the windows during the day, while the fireplace becomes a natural place to sit once things cool down.

Outside, 40 hectares are waiting.

You could walk before breakfast, find a hammock in the grounds or spend most of the afternoon doing nothing more complicated than moving between the pool and a shady spot under the trees.

THE TRAMUNTANA & MALLORCA

The mountains are right there, so you have plenty of reasons to put your shoes on and head outside.

Maybe you want a proper hike. A guide can take you into the Serra de Tramuntana and show you parts of the landscape you might otherwise miss.

For an easier morning, take a bicycle and follow the roads around the estate. There is no particular need to hurry. Stop when you find a view you like and carry on when you feel like it.

Back at Son Fuster, the pool makes a pretty good reward.

Mallorca's villages and coastline are within reach too. Your concierge can arrange a day on the water, a restaurant in town or transport whenever you want to see another side of the island.

Then again, staying put is perfectly reasonable. With this much land around you, you do not have to invent plans just to keep everyone busy.

POOL & WELLNESS

The pool sits outside among the gardens, heated and filled with saltwater. It is large enough for swimming, although you may find yourself spending more time sitting beside it.

Take a lounger and stay there for a while. When the sun gets too strong, the Moroccan Berber tents give you somewhere cooler to retreat to.

Inside, the wellness area feels quieter. The Finnish sauna is there when you want some heat, while the mosaic Turkish steam bath offers a slower way to unwind.

An infrared cabin gives you another option after a day spent hiking or cycling. You can also arrange a treatment in the private room and let a therapist come to you.

There is a Technogym fitness studio for anyone who wants a workout. Everyone else has the gardens.

FOOD & EVENINGS

Your chef takes care of the food, so meals can fit around whatever you have planned for the day.

An early breakfast works if you are heading into the mountains. On a slower morning, stay at the table longer and take your time.

Lunch can move outside when the weather is good. By evening, everyone can come together for a proper dinner, with the chef preparing the menu around your group's preferences and local ingredients.

Once you have eaten, you are not short of things to do.

The private cinema is there for a film. The billiard table gives you an excuse for a little competition. Later still, the nightclub lets you carry the evening on without leaving the estate.

Or forget all of that.

Open a bottle of wine, sit outside and let the evening run its course.

PRIVACY & SERVICE

The setting does much of the work when it comes to privacy. Son Fuster is surrounded by its own land, with the mountains and countryside beyond.

You can spend an entire day here without needing to see the outside world. Walk through the olive groves, swim, have lunch and return to the house whenever you want.

A house manager, private chef, butlers and housekeeping team handle the practical side of your stay. You do not need to spend your holiday organising who is doing what.

Fancy a boat trip? Ask. Someone wants a guide for the mountains? That can be arranged. Perhaps the group has decided on a completely different plan for tomorrow. The concierge can sort that out too.

A private helipad is available on the estate for arrivals and departures when arranged in advance.

For 20 guests, the space makes a difference. You get the feeling of being together without having to spend every waking hour in the same room.
