YOUR STAY

The Great House is the natural centre of life on Necker Island. Open-air lounges, high ceilings and a rooftop terrace give everyone somewhere to come together, while the surrounding villas provide quieter spaces when you want them.

The interiors have a strong Balinese influence, with hand-carved Indonesian timber, natural stone and fine fabrics used throughout. It feels tropical without being overly formal.

There are 24 rooms and suites across the island, with flexible king or twin arrangements. The Great House Master is particularly spacious, with around 1,500 square feet of room to settle in, along with a private terrace and outdoor jacuzzi.

Four villa areas give larger groups some flexibility during the stay. Families can have their own space, while the main social areas remain close enough for everyone to meet up throughout the day.

CARIBBEAN & ISLAND LIFE

Most days start outside. The Caribbean surrounds you in every direction, with white-sand beaches and warm water providing plenty of ways to spend the afternoon.

Snorkelling, kitesurfing, wakeboarding and sailing are all available, with equipment and instruction provided as part of the experience. If you would rather see more of the British Virgin Islands, private boat trips can also be arranged.

Two floodlit tennis courts give you another option, whether you want a casual game or something more competitive. The island is also home to the annual Necker Cup tennis event.

Then again, you might not want a schedule at all. Find a lounger by the pool, walk along the beach or spend a few hours doing very little.

POOLS & WELLNESS

Each of the four main villa areas has its own infinity pool, giving different parts of your group somewhere to swim and relax. The Great House also has an outdoor jacuzzi where you can sit above the island and take in the views.

Samudra Spa sits beside the beach, with treatment rooms where massages and other treatments can be arranged. The ocean is never far away, so even a quiet afternoon here feels connected to the setting.

For a slower start to the day, the yoga and mindfulness palapa provides an open-air space overlooking the water. You could begin with a session here, take a swim afterwards and spend the rest of the morning on the beach.

The island's trails give you another way to move around. A walk along the white sand is often enough when you want some fresh air without going anywhere in particular.

FOOD & EVENINGS

There is no fixed dining routine on Necker Island. Meals are arranged around your group, with private chefs preparing breakfasts, lunches, beach barbecues and evening dinners.

Some meals might be served in the Great House, while others could take you outdoors. Beach dinners and informal barbecues make the most of the island surroundings, particularly when everyone wants to stay outside.

Evenings can be just as relaxed or much more lively. The event team can arrange themed beach parties, live DJs, candlelit dinners and other private celebrations around your plans.

For something quieter, settle into one of the open-air lounges with a drink or head to the Beach House Lounge for a game of snooker or some time with the games and entertainment facilities.

PRIVACY & SERVICE

When you book Necker Island exclusively, the accommodation, beaches and facilities are reserved for your group. With 74 private acres around you, there is plenty of room to move between different parts of the island throughout the day.

More than 100 staff members are on hand, including estate managers, private chefs, hosts, watersports coaches and event planners. They take care of meals, activities and the practical details while you decide how you want to spend your time.

Boat transfers and excursions around the British Virgin Islands can be arranged, while the island's helipad provides another option for arrivals and departures.

The result is a stay that feels very much on your terms. You could fill every day with activities, or spend most of the week by the pool and barely notice the time.
