Chalet Marmottiere

Chalet Marmottière is a private alpine retreat set across two connected chalets in Les Esserts, one of Verbier’s most sought-after enclaves.

With 1,500 square metres of space, there is room to settle in, spend time together and find a quiet corner of your own. Nine en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 18 guests, including three master suites with fireplaces and dressing areas.

The living spaces are warm and relaxed, combining timber, stone and soft furnishings with wide views across the mountains. Large terraces and south-facing balconies bring the outdoors in, while the chalet’s generous size means there is always somewhere to escape to..

DINE

Food at Chalet Marmottière can be arranged around the tastes and preferences of each group, with menus changing with the seasons.

The professional kitchen gives the chef plenty of room to prepare everything from relaxed breakfasts to long dinners. Guests can gather around the dining table, enjoy a drink from the bar or spend an evening in the wine cellar choosing a bottle for dinner.

Local Swiss produce can feature throughout the menus, including regional cheeses, meats and seasonal ingredients from the surrounding area.

ENTERTAIN

There is plenty to do at Marmottière when you are not out on the mountain.

The chalet has its own bowling alley, poker room and billiards area, as well as foosball and a games room with an Xbox lounge. The private 3D cinema, complete with Dolby Atmos, is made for movie nights and lazy afternoons.

Outside, Verbier offers skiing, walking and mountain biking, with the trails and slopes of the Alps close by. In summer, there is also paragliding, golf and a choice of mountain routes to explore.

UNWIND

After a day in Verbier, the wellness area is a natural place to slow down.

The 17-metre indoor pool is long enough for a proper swim, while the sauna, steam room and hammam offer a quieter way to relax. Outside, the sunken hot tub looks out across the mountains and is particularly inviting after a day on the slopes.

There is also a private gym and massage treatment room. Personal training, yoga and treatments can be arranged during your stay.
