Cape Stout Estate
British Virgin Islands
8 Bedrooms
Cape Stout Estate sits high on the northern side of Moskito Island, with the Caribbean spread out below you. Eight bedrooms give you space for up to 24 guests, while seven pools, a private beach and your own 42-foot boat keep most of the holiday close to the water. You can spend the morning swimming, take the boat out after lunch or stay around the estate all day. With so much space, everyone gets to find their own pace.

YOUR STAY
Cape Stout is laid out more like a small private village than a traditional villa. The different spaces are connected by paths, terraces and outdoor areas, so you can wander from one part of the estate to another without everything feeling like one large house.
Headquarters is where the group naturally comes together. There are high ceilings, indoor and outdoor dining areas and places to sit with a drink while looking out towards the sea.
The bedrooms are spread around the estate too. Seven suites give adults their own private space, while the larger bunkroom gives children somewhere to make their own.
Each suite has its own terrace, along with a small drinks and coffee area. You can wake up, make yourself something to drink and sit outside before anyone else is ready to get up.
There are plenty of places to disappear to during the day. Find a lounger beside one of the pools, sit on the cliff edge or head down towards the beach when you want some sand between your toes.
MOSKITO ISLAND & LIFE ON THE WATER
You have a lot of Caribbean coastline to explore from Cape Stout. Honeymoon Beach is reached directly from the estate, giving you an easy option when you want a quieter afternoon by the sea.
Then there is the boat. WhyKnot is a 42-foot power boat available for your group, with a local captain taking care of the driving.
Head out towards another island, stop somewhere for a swim or spend the afternoon looking for good snorkelling spots. You don't have to plan the whole day before you leave.
The BVI is made for boat trips. One morning could take you to a quiet cove, while another might involve a longer trip around the islands.
Back at Cape Stout, you can still stay on the water without going anywhere. Paddleboards, snorkelling equipment and other water toys give you something to do when you don't feel like getting on the boat.
POOLS & WELLNESS
Seven pools might sound like a lot until you arrive and realise how the estate is laid out. You can choose where you want to swim depending on where everyone else happens to be.
The main infinity pool looks towards the Caribbean, while the lap pool gives you somewhere to get a proper swim in. Several of the suites also have water right outside their doors.
Three hot tubs give you another place to settle in later in the day. Sit back, have a drink and watch the light change over the water.
If you prefer to keep moving, there is a Peloton gym with views across the sea. A half basketball court gives you another reason to get outside, while the island's trails are there when you want a walk.
The yoga deck sits out on the cliff edge. Early morning is a good time to use it, before the heat builds and the rest of the group starts thinking about breakfast.
FOOD & EVENINGS
Meals are prepared around your group, so you don't have to work around a restaurant timetable. Your private chef can organise breakfast before an early boat trip or take more time with dinner when you have nowhere else to be.
Lunch works particularly well outside. Find a table near the pool, sit down after a swim and take your time before deciding what to do next.
Headquarters gives you a central place to eat together, while the different bars around the estate make it easy to grab a drink without going far.
Later, you might put some music on and settle into the vinyl lounge. On another night, set up a film outside and watch it beneath the Caribbean sky.
Or forget about planning the evening. Pour another drink, sit outside and let everyone stay wherever they happen to be.
PRIVACY & SERVICE
The way Cape Stout is spread across the hillside gives your group plenty of room. You can be together when you want to be, then wander off to your own suite or find a quiet corner when you need a break.
A dedicated estate team looks after the practical side of the stay. Your chef takes care of meals, while hosts and housekeeping keep things running in the background.
Your entertainment ambassador can help put together the day too. Want to take the boat out? Ask. Fancy a snorkelling trip or a beach afternoon? That can be arranged.
The estate's position also makes it easy to spend most of your time outdoors. You can walk down to Honeymoon Beach, come back for lunch and still have the whole afternoon ahead of you.
For a group of 24, that flexibility matters. Nobody has to do the same thing all day.
